Meinl Core Europe
Meinl Core Europe invests largely in stocks of highly capitalized companies in Western Europe (ex UK). These companies are quantitatively recorded and selected using the Quant Value model. Part of the assets is also invested in stocks of companies in special situation or subject to short-term undervaluation. The portfolio is concentrated and typically consists of 50-60 different stocks.
In the first six months 2009 Meinl Core Europe showed the best performance within 347 fonds approved in Austria that invest in European stocks ex UK.
