WARNING: ISSUING OF PAPER DOCUMENTS WITH TRANSACTION NUMBERS WILL BE STOPPED FROM DECEMBER 31, 2015

The authorisation of transactions in electonic banking with transaction numbers (TANs) listed on paper documents is subject to an increased risk of criminal abuse (e.g. phishing) and does not comply with state-of-the-art security standards. Meinl Bank AG will therefore stop issuing paper documents with TANs from December 31, 2015. TANs on paper documents that are already issued can be used after this date. We offer customers the authorisation through mTAN, which is received by SMS. This procedure offers a high degree of security and can be adapted to individual requirements.

Authorisation by mTAN

The registration for mTAN takes place in electronic banking in the menu “Access Information / TAN-Procedure”, where you enter your mobile phone number. After completing your transaction order in electronic banking, click “request mTAN” in “Signature” and you will receive your transaction number via SMS to the registered mobile number.
